Where do you source FDDs?

We source Franchise Disclosure Documents from publicly available state regulatory filings. FDDs are legally required to be filed with state franchise regulators and are public records. We do not obtain documents from franchisors directly.

Is the report a substitute for a franchise attorney?

No. ClearlyFDD is a research and education tool — not legal advice. We strongly recommend working with a licensed franchise attorney before signing any franchise agreement or making an investment decision. Our reports are designed to help you come to that conversation better prepared.

I purchased a report but can't access it.

Email us at amy@aiery.com with your account email and the franchise brand you purchased. We'll resolve it promptly.

Can I request a brand that isn't in your database?

Yes. Email us the brand name and we'll do our best to source the FDD and add it to the platform. Turn-around time varies depending on document availability.

How do I request a refund?

Because reports are digital products generated on demand, all sales are final once a report has been accessed. If you had a technical issue that prevented you from viewing your report, contact us and we'll make it right.
